About Me
I am a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist trained at the British Psychotherapy Foundation (BPF) and I am a full member of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP). I have fourteen years experience working in specialist NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). I now work solely in private practice and run One Space Therapy Rooms.
During my time in the NHS I worked in numerous CAMHS services across North and South London, one of which was a specialist Under Fives Service. I have extensive experience of assessment and treatment of young people with a variety of emotional, social, behavioural and developmental difficulties, including depression, anxiety and self-harm as well as young people who are neurodivergent. I have a wide range of experience offering short-term and longer-term support, including psychotherapy and parent work.
I completed a Doctorate in Psychotherapy in 2014. My final doctoral thesis focused on Psychotherapy with Looked After Children. I have supervised students on the MSc Psychodynamics of Human Development at Birkbeck. I have substantial experience working with adolescents and a specialist interest in working with16 -25 year olds. I am particularly interested in supporting looked after and adopted young people as well as those who have experienced developmental trauma.
